The Presidential Student Leadership Academy (PSLA) is a yearlong program designed to help students develop their leadership skills and prepare for future roles in leadership or management in their chosen field.
This is a unique program designed to cultivate outstanding potential in proven student leaders. The academy will offer an enriching personal, cultural, and academic experience.
The academy will do the following:
- Hold monthly informational meetings highlighting programs and activities in leadership and communication skills, problem solving, team building, cultural diversity, group interaction, and campus life.
- Meet regularly with campus administration, including the President.
- Participate in a community service project.
- Host and participate in special events at Redlands.
- Participant in an educational field trip.
The expectations of the academy are the following:
- Attend at least 75% of the academy offerings.
- Each member must be active on campus and participate in events and/or campus clubs or organizations.
- Each member must be enrolled as a full time student taking at least 12 credit hours, maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA and satisfy the academic performance requirements for each student’s specific program.
The class will have a maximum of 15 students.
The 15 students selected for the academy will be notified in early August 2026.
