My Sister Liv
Max's Mission, and KidsMatter invite you to a special showing of the documentary "My Sister Liv" at Metea Valley High School on Tuesday April 23rd from 7:00-8:30 pm. The film is approximately an hour long and will be followed by a panel discussion with experts in the field of suicide. "My Sister Live" is directed by Grammy Award winning Alan Hicks, and Academy and Emmy Award winning PaulaDuPre Pesen. The film is open to anyone in the community ages 14 and up. Disclaimer that this film is a documentary that follows a family who lost their daughter/sister Liv to suicide, and gives an in depth view into mental illness and suicide. "My Sister Liv" is incredibly powerful, engaging, informative and honest about mental illness, suicide and the aftershocks that occur when a family and community lose someone they love to suicide.
