We are searching for a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our established woodworking shop. In this part-time role, with the potential to transition to full-time, you'll play a vital role in crafting high-quality custom cabinetry. We offer a competitive starting salary range of $14-$17 per hour, paid holidays, and accrued time off.

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to build cabinets.
Operate various woodworking machinery safely and efficiently (e.g., saws, sanders, drills).
Select appropriate materials (wood, hardware, etc.) for each project.
Cut, shape, and assemble cabinet components with precision.
Apply finishes (stain, paint, etc.) to completed projects.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Assist with shop maintenance tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

Minimum 6 months of experience in cabinet making or related carpentry preferred.

Strong understanding of woodworking principles and techniques.

Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong work ethic with reliable attendance.

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly and perform a 2-man lift of up to 150 lbs regularly.

Must be able to read a tape measure.

Must be willing to work in noisy environments with exposure to dust and paint fumes in all types of climates.

Additional Information:

This is a part-time position with the potential to transition to full-time based on performance and company needs.
