    You must score 90% to pass the test. If you do not pass, you must wait one month before taking it again.

  • 1. Mill Races are to be run on approved:*
  • 2. SR leash rules apply to the entering and exiting of the ring in Level 1.*
  • 3. You may have a toy on you to encourage the dog to run.*
  • 4. The score is calculated by*
  • 5. For the run to count:*
  • 6. The dog may make as many runs as they’d like.?*
  • 7. How many runs must be made to qualify for a score?*
  • 8. How many minutes is each run for?*
  • 9. If there is a tie, the top 3 runs will be averaged*
  • 10. If a tie exists after final calculation of score…. The win will be given to the dog that is:*
  • 11. Once a dog is released to run, the handler may not touch the dog or the mill in any way.*
  • 12. In level 1 the handler may restrain the dog and/or the belt before the run has started, and after the run is complete.*
  • 13. In Level 2 the dog must stay in what position on the mill, awaiting release?*
  • 14. In Level 2 at the end of two minutes the judge will call to decelerate. The dog must decelerate to a trot for how many seconds?*
  • 15. In Level 2, after the trot, the dog must stop. It is ok to work the belt to help, but not to touch the dog.*
  • 16. In Level 3, the leash must be removed at the entrance to the ring and must move with the handler to the mill under control using which position?*
  • 17. In Level 3, at the 1 minute mark the judge will cue a deceleration. The dog must decelerate for how many seconds?*
  • 18. Revolutions will not be counted from the time the judge calls the deceleration to the time they indicate the deceleration period is completed.*
  • 19. After the end of the round in Level 3, the dog must make the same ending (not exiting…. ENDING THE RUN)  sequence as Level 2.*
  • 20. In Level 3 After the dog has stopped on cue and the run is completed, the dog will be unhooked and called to middle from the mill, and tactical heeled out. The leash may be used to assist in this.*
  • 21. When the leash is removed from the dog it must be worn on the body how?*
  • 22. In Level 2 & 3, if any of the entrance, exit, beginning, or ending sequences are not completed satisfactorily the run will count as a foul.*
  • 23. In level 1, The dog is allowed how many fouls?*
