  • AGREEMENT TO HOLD HARMLESS, WAIVER, & ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I, the undersigned, understand that my attendance at any boarding, training, Pet First Aid Class, or other pet-related event held with Molly Freedman, is not without risk to myself or anyone representing myself, as some of the dogs to which I may be exposed, and to which my own pets may also be exposed, could cause injury due to their difficult nature or temperament. I understand that, even when the greatest of care and attention is taken, there is always a possibility of injury to myself, my pets, or, my representative.

Molly Freedman shall exercise reasonable care for my pet while my pet is in her custody. I recognize the potential risks involved with boarding, pet sitting, grooming, group play, training, Pet First Aid, and other events. I understand that the way pets interact with one another can be unpredictable, and recognize injury can occur to my pet while co-mingling with other pets. I understand the risks of injury include but are not limited to, scratches, minor cuts, bite marks, open wounds, major injury or even death. I have determined that the benefits of these activities outweigh the risks. Molly Freedman reserves the right to refuse to provide any services to my pet for any reason or no reason at all as she sees fit.

I represent to Molly Freedman that, to the best of my knowledge, my pet has not been exposed to rabies, distemper or any other contagious or communicable disease in the thirty (30) day period prior to joining the Pet First Aid Class (if applicable) with Molly Freedman. I agree to notify Molly Freedman immediately if my pet is exposed to any virus, infection or other transferable illness. I further agree that I will not bring my pet to any Pet First Aid facility unless and until my pet is free of any symptoms of illness for a reasonable period determined by a licensed veterinarian. I further agree not to bring my pet to any Pet First Aid Class if my pet is exhibiting any signs of illness that may be harmful to other pets. Such signs of illness include, but are not limited to vomiting, diarrhea, extreme lethargy, and red eyes. I represent that I am the sole owner of my pet, free and clear of all liens and encumbrances.

I hereby grant Molly Freedman the right to take photographs of my pet and myself, and to post or reproduce any and all photographs taken without limitation, on their website, social media accounts, promotional materials and merchandise. I expressly waive the right to receive any royalty or other payments of any kind related to the use of the photographs. I agree not to sue Molly Freedman and release them from any and all claims, demands, rights, causes of action of any kind related to the use of photographs.

I hereby waive and release Molly Freedman, including their staff and volunteers, from any and all liability of any nature for injury or damage to myself, my representative, my pets, and my belongings which may occur while on the premise for any pet-related event, class, service, or activity.

I agree to hold harmless and indemnify any instructor, employee, assistant, volunteer, participant, agent, and any other person present at any pet-related service or event for any and all claims by myself or anyone representing or accompanying myself, due to injury or damage of any nature.
