Insights from the Industry: A Survey for Business Professionals to Share Expertise with Future Leaders
Dr. Sandy Weiss is an Assistant Professor of Instruction for the University of South Florida MUMA College of Business where she teaches a variety of management courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. After 15 years of corporate experience, she transitioned to academia full-time in the Spring of 2024. Given her professional leadership experience, she has a strong desire to ensure her students not only understand the fundamentals of the courses she teaches but their real-world applications and how they can leverage their knowledge and skills to excel in the corporate world.
About the Students:
A primary course that Dr. Weiss teaches is Strategic Management and Decision Making, an undergraduate capstone course that all business students take. All the students in this course are preparing to graduate and are looking forward to navigating the next phase in their journey. This information will be compiled and leveraged to help provide them with information that will aid in their transition to becoming a young professional.
