Greetings from the Lincoln Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. We are excited to offer you the opportunity to apply for our Scholarship.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is a private non-profit organization, founded on January 13, 1913, by 22 collegiate woman at Howard University to promote academic excellence and provide assistance to those in need. Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. is a sisterhood of predominately black, college educated women. The sorority currently has over 1,000 collegiate and alumnae chapters located in the United States and Internationally. Since it's founding more than 200,000 women has joined our organization.

The Lincoln Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. has been serving the Lincoln community since 1974. In addition to our educational scholarships, Lincoln Alumnae provides programs based upon our organizations Five-Point Programmatic thrust that also address physical and mental health, international awareness and invovlement, economic development, social action, political awa:reness and involvement.

Scholarship Amount: $1,000

Eligibility Requirements:

Female or those who identify as female, and be of African or African American decent preferred.
Must be a high school senior graduating from Lincoln Public Schools and planning to enroll in a four-year institution of higher learning.
Must show proof of enrollement in an institution of higher learning before scholarship is received.

Application Process:

Complete and submit the application by the deadline date. All required fields must be completed before submitting the application.
Enclose an official copy of your most recent high school transcript the includes your grade point average, weighted and unweighted
Enclose a recent photo, that maybe be published with a release
Submit a resume
