Making the most of bioresources: Scotland’s fish and seafood supply chain

This online panel with experts from the supply chain and policy is organised by the social scientists from the James Hutton Institute (JHI) in Aberdeen. This is part of the JHI team's work in the WP4 of LOWINFOOD project on how returns from bioresources the Scottish seafood and fish supply chain can be maximised in a sustainable way. The panel aims to brings together different perspectives and to initiate an informed discussion on the hotspots of loss and waste in the Scottish fish and seafood supply chain; the barriers to preventing and reducing loss and waste at specific stages and the opportunities for valorisation, cost reduction and income creation through collaboration and coordination.
