'Ia Ora Na & Maeva to the 4th edition of Tamure Tahiti 2026!
We’re excited that Murrieta Hot Springs Resort is hosting our event once again.
This year, we’re introducing a two-day competition for all 'Ori participants. This change is designed to give you time to relax and recharge, making the event more enjoyable. Take advantage of the spa and hot springs at the resort, visit local wineries, explore Pechanga Resort Casino, or shop at the promenade mall. These activities will help you unwind and prepare for the next day’s competition.
We are also thrilled to announce an important update to our competition format! Each age group will be assigned a specific cotton colored pareo for easy identification during the two-day event.
On the first day, competitors will focus on wearing the pareo, a top, and flower in the ear (flower in the ear for male dancers is optional). This will showcase their fundamental skills. On the second day, participants will perform in their assigned pareo while expressing their creativity through costumes, following Tamure Tahiti's guidelines on costumes.
We’ve also streamlined age categories for both females and males into six groups: 7 to 12 years, 13 to 17 years, 18 to 29 years, 30 to 40 years, 41 to 50 years, and 51 to 75 years.

WHAT'S NEW FOR 2026 TAMURE TAHITI?
1. Each age group will be assigned a required 100% cotton colored pareo.
2. 'Ori competition will be on Saturday & Sunday with shorter time schedule so you can visit and enjoy the surrounding areas
3. Saturday, colored assigned pareo competition only
4. Sunday, full costumes competition
5. Condensed age group categories; 7-12yrs | 13-17yrs | 18-29yrs | 30-40yrs | 41-50yrs | 51-75yrs

HOW TO REGISTER WITH A DISCOUNT CODE?
1. Contact your pupu 'Ori leader to email getcode@tamuretahiti.com (This will established the permission protocol from your pupu 'Ori to compete)
