At Kyle Veterinary Hospital we specialize in small group play and providing a personal, comfortable space for all of our boarding and daycare dogs. Each dog has their own private kennel with a personal fresh water bowl and comfortable bedding. Dogs are let out into our yard into small, supervised groups matched to their temperament to make sure all social interactions are a safe and positive experience.
We require that each dog is friendly with others and easy to handle in our kennel environment. Dogs over the age of ten months must be spayed or neutered to stay in our kennel. If your dog is over the age of ten months and is not spayed or neutered, no further reservations can be accepted until they have been spayed or neutered. Senior kennel staff will perform a Kennel Suitability Assessment throughout your dog's first boarding or daycare visit (we may allow for a second daycare visit to perform the assessment to allow time to settle in). You will be provided with a copy of the assessment that will inform you of whether Kyle Veterinary Hospital Boarding is the best facility for your dog. Although we love all dogs, in order to keep others safe we cannot allow dogs who show aggression towards other dogs or humans in a kennel environment. The results of the Kennel Suitability Assessment are at the sole discretion of Kyle Veterinary Hospital. We reserve the right to decline future reservations if we feel our facility is not the right fit for your dog. We reserve the right to remove your dog from group play and no further reservations can be accepted at any time in your relationship with us if we see a change in your dog’s behavior. Please be aware that the results of the Kennel Suitability Assessment may change over time and we may have to reevaluate your dog.
Dogs in the same household may board in the same kennel at the owner’s request. It is at the sole discretion of Kyle Veterinary Hospital to separate dogs sharing a kennel if we deem necessary and the additional cost will be incurred by the owner. Kyle Veterinary Hospital is not responsible for personal items left with your dog being damaged or lost. We put the utmost priority on keeping all of the dogs in our kennel safe, but dogs are dynamic animals and injuries can happen. By bringing your dog to our facility you are taking responsibility for that risk and Kyle Veterinary Hospital is not legally or financially responsible for any injuries incurred at our facility.
