The CSA Theatre compANY is a pre-professional theatre training programming for students ages 8-18 that consists of classes in theatre, music, dance, and theatre production. In addition to training opportunities, the CSA Theatre compANY performs and produces 3-4 performances a season.

All applicants must complete full application.
Theatre compANY - Theatre Performance Focus
Cost: $75 plus monthly tuition for classes
*CSA student company members receive 20% off all monthly class tuition fees.
Class requirements: compANY Acting class, Vocal class, Dance elective class, compANY Family time, compANY rehearsals
Other requirements: Participate in all show load-ins and strikes
Theatre compANY - Theatre Production Focus

Class requirements: Theatre compANY Production Class, stagecraft lab, one other theatre related elective courses, compANY Family time, compANY rehearsals
Other requirements: 10 hours of production work time per semester, participate in all show load-ins and strikes
**CSA Theatre compANY tuition is included in full for students in the CSA Arts Academy Program.
Audition/Interview Procedures

Returning compANY member Audition/Interview Procedures
Theatre Production Focus students will be required to complete an interview with compANY leadership about past production experience and/or skills and experience they hope to attain. No audition required.
CSA will schedule a time for an interview.
Theatre Performance Focus students are required to complete an audition.
Students entering the 3rd-6th grades:
One monologue (30-60 seconds long)
32 bars of a contrasting Broadway or Pop song
Students entering 7th-9th grades:
Two contrasting monologues, (30-60 seconds long each)
32 bars of a contrasting Broadway or Pop song
Students entering 10th-12th grades:
Two contrasting monologues, (30-60 seconds long each)
32 bars of TWO contrasting Broadway or Pop songs

TIME YOURSELF AT HOME! You have 5 minutes TOTAL to audition, you need to tailor your audition selections to fit within this time allowance while still including all required elements.
Dress to impress (as if you want in the compANY) but also use it as an opportunity to show us who you are.
DURING THE AUDITION
PREPARE a Slate! (Introduction) “Your Name / Your Age / Your School / Your Selections.” Your time will start after you give your slate.
IN ORDER TO AUDITION, you must have an audition form completed. You may not have an audition number until the paperwork is completed.
