As part of our new coaching model we have some exciting PLC/Group Coaching opportunities that will be happening every month.
Professional Learning Community (PLC) Sometimes called COP: A professional learning community is a group of professionals who come together to reflect on and support each other’s work. For Early Achievers Participants, being part of a professional learning community is the same as being involved in what the standards call a “peer learning community”.
Community of Practice (COP): You may have noticed the term COP in CeCi. COP members engage in joint activities wherein they learn how to improve their similar programs, share best practices, and discuss areas of growth. These joint activities are foundational for building the "community" in a Community of Practice.
Group Coaching: Group coaching means that you coach a group of people who want to achieve similar goals. As a facilitator of group coaching sessions is to co-create and hold a safe space for participants to learn, be heard, pause, and reflect to make meaning, so that their inner wisdom may emerge.
Specialty Hour: A topic short PLC that is one hour in length and no more.
MHC Drop In: Designated drop in hours where MHCs can connect and support providers.
