Michigan Central STEAM Award
The Detroit Public Schools Community District Foundation, alongside Michigan Central, have created an opportunity for class of 2024, 2025, and 2026 students at Western International High School pursuing or working in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, or Math (STEAM) education and/or enrichment, and live in the Corktown, North Corktown, and Hubbard-Richard neighborhoods. Scholars can apply for up to $10,000 for tuition and fees for STEAM programming. Funds will be disbursed on a rolling basis as needed.
