Additional Details for Wildlife Friendly Fencing:
- Fence projects are generally within an hour's driving distance of the Jackson Hole Town Square. The group meets in town on the morning of the project to carpool.
- Volunteers must fill out a liability waiver with the Jackson Hole Wildlife Foundation prior to participating
- No experience is needed and tools (gloves, pliers, etc.) are provided
- Snacks and additional water are provided, but please bring you own lunch and water bottle.
- Long sleeve shirts, long pants, eye protection, sunscreen, raingear, and bugspray are all recommended. Questions, email info@jhwildlife.org
Additional Details for Invasive Weed Removal:
- Invasive weed removal projects are either in town or about a 30 minute drive from Jackson Hole Town Square. The group meets in town on the morning of the project to carpool.
- We do not use chemical herbicides.
- Volunteers must fill out a liability waiver with the Jackson Hole Wildlife Foundation prior to participating
- No experience is needed and tools (gloves, shovels, clippers) are provided
- Snacks and additional water are provided, but please bring you own lunch and water bottle.
- Long pants, sunscreen, raingear, and bugspray are all recommended. Questions, email info@jhwildlife.org
Additional Details for Bird Banding:
- This is a great experience for kids and families as you will get to see birds up close.
- Our banding stations are 10 minute drive or 25 minute drive from the Jackson Town Square depending on the station.
- Visits to the banding stations are only available in the morning, so this is a good activity if you have plans for later in the day. Questions, email info@jhwildlife.org
