  • Your information is vital to our ability to assist you in the event of an emergency.

  • The SCORE Relay / Weatherman team needs reliable contact information for your team on race day in case of an emergency, relay request, or status update. Please complete this form with as much detail as possible so we can reach you quickly if needed. You can contact the Weatherman team on race day at 151.625 (Weatherman frequency) or by voice/text at 562-279-0700 for emergencies, relays, and status requests. Please update this information anytime changes occur, including car number, phone contacts, or team communicator details. It is important that we have a direct phone number for the team communicator who will be available during the race. Thank you for helping us keep communication clear and efficient on race day.

Completing this information grants permission to all SCORE Relay staff to utilize the information and is considered part of the race event documentation and rules.  All information should be updated for accuracy at all times including race day.
  • If you are using a text device, it's very important that you understand how much info we need as we can't quickly ask you questions.

To reach the team on race day, call or Text 562-279-0700. If you are texting, please be sure to include this important information:

    • Who is texting (This is 441x race/chase)
    • Injured person name and if they are a racer, crew or spectator
    • Extent of injuries. Do they need their team? Ambulance? Helicopter?
    • Injured person vehicle # and class or description of vehicle.
    • What race mile are you at (or lat/long if device sends it)
    • Who is staying to provide communication updates and their contact info if it is no longer you.
    • Time message was sent (It may take time for the text to send)

This seems like a lot of information, but this is why carrying a sat phone is important. For those of you carrying a text device only, you need to send us a very detailed report so we don't allocate emergency resources away from more urgent emergencies.

If reporting a DNF, please give us your vehicle #, Race Mile out and any other details for our notes.
