Code of Conduct
It is an expectation of Ballers' Den LLC that you abide by the codes of conduct listed in this document. For their own safety and the safety of others, non participating young children of players are to be accompanied or adequately supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times while activities are going on. Failure to act according to the codes of conduct may result in exclusion from Ballers Den LLC and its activities.
These codes of conduct are intended as guidelines appropriate for all involved in the sport of basketball; including though not limited to players, coaches, officials and spectators.
These codes are guides within which each participating group should endeavour to operate to improve the basketball experience all participants.
The code requires that you:
- Abide by the rules of the sport
- Follow directions given by officials
- Demonstrate the principle of mutual respect
Designated officials of Ballers' Den LLC are authorised to require a person to leave the premises where the activites are being held if that person breaches the code through:
- Verbal or physical abuse of other participants
- Harassment or discrimination of individuals or groups
- Constant or aggressive questioning of decisions
- Ridicule, baiting or uttering audible obscenities
- Engaging in behaviour which fails the mutual respect test
Further action is not precluded where a person is asked to leave the premises. We accept that disagreements and disputes may occur. Address these in a polite, calm manner using the procedures of your sport.
