Who we are-
The Crafters Emporium has 4 shops in Oxfordshire supporting crafters mainly from Oxfordshire but also expanding to neighbouring counties. Crafters to us is small independent people or businesses based in the UK making their own handmade and unique items to sell. We pride ourselves as a non profit to support the local communities of Oxfordshire by providing a High Street outlet. We have opportunities for all budgets and for all individuals whether they have been running their own business for years or just doing it as a hobby. We have separate facebook pages for the individual shops which you can find by searching Crafters Emporium then the shop location, i.e. Faringdon, Bicester and Oxford. Terms & Conditions - We have a few conditions for all our stockists.
To sell with us you must reside in the UK. Where we do prioritize local makers to Oxfordshire we do accept those further afield (you can post directly to the shops) All items must be made by yourself or a small business group based in the UK You must conform to trading standards including copyright rules at all times Toys must be CE tested and have the correct labelling. Hygiene products, soaps and candles must conform to appropriate trading standards with the correct labelling. Full disclosure of your items must be given in this form as much as possible - any additional items that you would like to bring in must be discussed with management. You will be billed on a monthly basis, and we endevnour to pay you once a month for the previous month. You will receive a detailed breakdown of all sales on a monthly basis. Failure to pay the rental costs will mean withholding any future payments. You must give one month notice to leave us after you officially start stocking. You must keep in regular contact with us about your stock and update us with new means of information and communication. Management will determine your space prior however you are able to set up yourself and change your display. The Crafters Emporium may also move your stock to refill, reduce gaps or increase sales throughout the month. As we are a community interest company, all monies made is to pay to ensure the shop is fully staffed and looked after, because of this we are NOT able to cover for any breakages or thefts that happen in the stores. You will be emailed with your acceptance, unfortunately sometimes we cannot respond to everyone but you should expect an acceptance email within a month of your application.
