Free School Meal Eligibility:
Parents confirm that their child/ren are eligible for free school meals. This camp is FREE for those who receive free school meals.
Sign-In and Collection:
All children must be signed in by parents at the start of each day, indicating who will be collecting them at the end of the day.
Parents/guardians must arrive promptly for pick-up, and every child must be signed out by the parent/guardian.
Staff to Children Ratio:
The staff to children ratio will be 1:8.
Provided Services:
Snacks, lunch, and water will be provided on the day.
Medical Information:
It is essential for parents to inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or intolerances their child has prior to attending camp, so we can cater to their needs.
Parents of children with asthma or serious allergies must ensure they have the correct treatment (e.g., inhalers or EpiPens) with them at camp.
Weather Preparedness:
Children should arrive prepared for all weathers, wearing comfortable clothes and shoes suitable for gardening activities.
Medical Treatment:
Staff may administer necessary first aid or medical treatment in urgent situations.
First Aid Supplies:
Staff may utilise antiseptic wipes and/or plasters as needed, unless contraindicated by allergy information.
Attendance Policy:
Parents must promptly notify Youth Pathway if they no longer wish to take up the space so that it can be offered to those on the waiting list.
Contact Information:
Parents must provide accurate and up-to-date contact details, including email address and phone number. All important updates and communications will be conveyed via email. It is the parent's responsibility to regularly check and read these emails. Parents also consent to being added to a parent messaging group (e.g., via SMS or WhatsApp), which will be used to share updates and important information about the club and camp activities. Responsibility for Information:
Youth Pathway cannot be held liable for any missed or overlooked information if it was communicated via email but not read by the parent.
Notification of Changes:
Parents are required to promptly inform Youth Pathway of any relevant changes regarding their child or personal circumstances.
If someone other than the parent will be picking up the child, written notice including the individual's full name and contact number must be sent to info@youthpathway.co.uk.
Photography and Videography:
Staff may capture photographs and videos of your child participating in the Youth Pathway: Holiday Camp, strictly for use on Youth Pathway's official social media accounts.
Identifiable media may also be utilised on Youth Pathway's website and other social media platforms. If you wish to withdraw consent, please contact us at info@youthpathway.co.uk.
Additionally, parents consent to their child participating in media events, including potential interviews with local media outlets. Parents will be notified if their child is chosen to speak to the media.
Data Protection:
Any personal information collected will be securely stored and handled in compliance with the 1998 Data Protection Act.
This information will be used solely for the purpose of informing you about services and family events that may be beneficial to you and/or your child. Information may be shared with those organisations that have funded the camp when requested. This includes Children's Quarter, Fit For All, Bring It On Brum and HAF.
