General Training Information
Owner has requested that RK9 provide Board and
Train services for the Owner’s dog
The Owner represents that he/she is the lawful owner of
the dog and has the sole right to enter into this Agreement. RK9 will work daily with Owner’s dog on training items. Board and train focuses on assisting the Owner with various training areas which may include any one or more of the following: beginner and puppy foundation training, leash pressure, off-leash training, behavior modification, dog/human, aggression, fear and anxiety, personal protection foundation, eliminating bad habits, and behaviors.
Training for each individual dog will be specialized to match the needs of the dog and the requests of his/her owner.
No Guarantees
This Agreement in no way guarantees or promises that all items discussed by the Owner will be resolved or that all items addressed in the Board and Train will be successful. RK9 will, however, will work diligently to meet the reasonable goals that are communicated with the owner.
By signing below, the Owner expressly acknowledges that there are no guarantees as to what is accomplished in training since there are so many factors for each dog when it comes to training successes including the length of time the dog is in the board and train program, whether the dog has any prior training, genetics, prior bad experiences, age and health of the dog. The Board & Train costs cover the boarding and the trainer’s time. It does not cover a guaranteed outcome as there are no guaranteed
outcomes.
General Disclaimer
By utilizing our board and train services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. These terms are designed to ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all animals and staff involved.
- Health and Vaccinations
- All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations, including but not limited to rabies, distemper, and Bordetella.
- Proof of vaccination must be available upon request
- Dogs must be free from parasites, including fleas and ticks. We reserve the right to refuse services to any dog that appears ill or infested.
- Behavior and Aggression
- Owners must disclose any history of aggressive behavior, biting, or other behavioral issues. Failure to disclose such information may result in refusal of services or immediate removal of the dog from our premises.
Liability
- Every effort will be taken for both trainer/handler and the dog alike to be safe at all times. in that, owners acknowledge that there are inherent risks associated with dog training and boarding, including but not limited to injuries to the dog or other dogs, and agree to release our business from any and all liability arising from such risks.
- Owners agree to indemnify and hold harmless our business, its employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses that may arise from their dog's participation in our training or boarding programs.
Emergency Care
- In the event of a medical emergency, we will contact the owner or the designated emergency contact. If neither can be reached, we reserve the right to seek veterinary care at the owner's expense.
- Owners are responsible for any veterinary costs incurred through normal health maintenance and normal precedures/practices during their dog's stay.
Pick-Up and Drop-Off
Dogs must be picked up and dropped off during designated hours. Late pick-ups may incur additional fees.
Payment
- At least half of the payment for services is due at the time of drop-off. We only accept cash, venmo, and cashap at this time.
