Youth Choir 2024 Application- Canada Tour

Application
The Youth Choir Committee will review and respond to each applicant within five to seven business days after the close of each Submission Period (see dates below). Once notified of acceptance, in order to secure their spot, the applicant will have ONE week to send in the registration fee associated with the date of their submission. Failure to do so may cause the approved applicant to lose their place in the choir.

Submission Period 1: March 15- April 1, 2024 Reg. Fee: $75

Submission Period 2: April 2 - May 1, 2024 Reg. Fee: $100

Submission Period 3: May 2 - June 1 , 2024 Reg. Fee: $150

*The registration, if accepted, for any applications submitted after June 1 will require a fee of $175. All fees are in US Dollars and must be sent to:

PASSPORTS

Every choir member that plans on participating this year will need a passport.

AIRPORT INFORMATION

Tour begins in Richmond Hill, ON on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 2:00pm. Please plan to arrive no later than 12pm if flying into the Toronto Airport (YYZ).

If you would like transportation from Wooster, OH to Richmond Hill, ON please plan to arrive to the Cleveland Airport (CLE) or Akron/Canton Airport (CAK) no later than 4pm on Tuesday June 25, 2024 or arrive at the UBY Barn by 5pm on Tuesday June 25, 2024. Space is limited so make your travel arrangements early!

Tour will end on Monday July 8, 2024 in Burnaby, BC. Plan to fly out no earlier than 12pm if flying out of the Vancouver Airport (YVR) and no earlier than 7pm if flying out of the Seattle Airport (SEA-TAC). If you are continuing on to Western Camp, the bus will make a stop at Warm Beach Camp.

SPONSOR PROGRAM

Each choir member is expected to raise a minimum of $1200 in sponsors.

Upon Acceptance, you will receive information and forms, which further explain this program that enables ACCF to cover the additional expenses involved with your participation in the ministry of Youth Choir. Sponsors will receive a charitable donation receipt at the end of the year for their donations to ACCF-DAP Youth choir.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Any applicant who would otherwise be accepted to the choir and cannot pay all or part of the application fee or meet the minimum sponsor requirement should contact the Youth Choir Committee at accyouthchoir@gmail.com about scholarships that are available on a limited basis.
