Adoption fees: Under 6 months: $600 and we will pay $200 back to adopter at time of spay/neuter. Agreement to spay/neuter must be signed by adopter

6 months to 7 years $500...over 7 years $350. All dogs over 6 months are adopted spayed/neutered

Behavior

The first few months upon adopting tend to be the most difficult. Your new dog has been through many transitions, and your home is just one more transition in his mind. New behaviors can crop up, or previously seen behaviors can be amplified during the transition period. Working through these issues can be challenging and time consuming, and so please be as clear and honest as possible so we can help you get as close to the right fit as possible.
What would you do if your new dog shows signs of separation anxiety? Such signs can include destructiveness, barking, whining, chewing, and scratching at doors. Would you consider returning? What would you do?*
If this dog will be an addition to an existing dog(s): Would you expect them to get along right away? Each Throw Me A Bone Canada dog will be adopted; up to date on vaccines, treated for parasites, spay/neutered if over 6 months, with any behavioural issues disclosed, with any health conditions we are aware of disclosed and vet records.

Throw Me A Bone Canada will refund 100% of your adoption fee if for any reason you do not want this pet within 2 weeks of adoption date. If it is past that date please reach out and we will work with you.
