I hereby confirm that the information I have provided is true and accurate and give my permission for this information to be shared with and verified by Russell Property Agents Limited t/a Russell Property, HomeLet, my employer and/or future employer/accountant, my current or previous landlord or managing agent (where applicable) and disclosed as detailed above for the purpose of:

• Performing a credit search by a third party agency (our current partner is HomeLet and their Privacy Notice is located here https://homelet.co.uk/privacy-notice. The credit search will return your full credit report including your credit score and details of any adverse credit, which will be used to assess your suitability for a tenancy.
• Verifying my income details
• Fraud prevention, credit assessment and insurance decisions

The request for your credit report will leave a footprint on your credit file, which is not visible to lenders, but will be visible to you and this footprint will read as having been made by HomeLet (or as notified by TransUnion from time to time); and in order to allow HomeLet to access the credit report as part of their tenant referencing services, you are submitting a request under section 15 of the GDPR (or any successor legislation) to TransUnion.

I understand that the results of these searches, and any documentation shared with HomeLet, will be provided to the letting agent and accessed again in the event of a default in the rental payments.

Your tenancy agreement has associated risks and your obligations and liabilities are unlimited with regards to damage and dilapidations caused by you during the tenancy.

I understand that I can request the details of any credit reference agencies used in order to verify the information provided.

I understand that Abode and HomeLet will hold my details securely and will not pass these to third parties without my permission. If I have any queries I will contact Russell Property in the first instance who will engage HomeLet on my behalf, as required.

I authorise Russell Property and HomeLet to obtain my credit report and if I later withdraw my authorisation, Abode and HomeLet will immediately delete any data they hold and cease providing the referencing services which rely on it. HomeLet will retain all records in respect of my authorisation and, by submitting requests to TransUnion for data, agrees that it has in place the relevant and up-to-date
authorisation.

I confirm that I am happy for HomeLet to contact my referees (including those outside the EEA), with personal information which has been provided in this form to allow them to verify the information about my earnings, dates of employment and previous tenancy term.

I understand that providing false information may lead to early termination of any subsequent tenancy agreement. I am happy for HomeLet to contact me in respect to this application if required. I have read and agree to be bound by the above terms.
