Objectives:
-Participants will be able to describe what the spectrum of dissociation is
-Participants will be able to identify at least 2 risks of not screening for and treating dissociation in their practice
-Participants will be able to explain 2 features of the neurobiology of dissociation
-Participants will be able to identify 2 features of structural dissociation
-Participants will be able to identify at least 1 screening tool that can be used in clinical practice for dissociation
-Participants will be able to identify 3 interventions for promoting stabilization to clients with patholgoical dissociation symptoms
-Participants will learn 3 strategies for modifying the EMDR standard protocol to serve clients with dissociation
-Participants will be able to identify the clinical difference between 3 different DSM dissociative disorders

Co-Founder, Clinical Director and Psychotherapist with The Therapy Garden. Kathryn specializes in EMDR therapy for the treatment of trauma-related disorders including dissociation in adults. Kathryn is an EMDR Certified Therapist and EMDRIA Approved Consultant. Kathryn is passionate about combining ecotherapy, somatic psychology, neurobiology, parts work and attachment theory in her clinical work. She works with humans living with dissociative sypmtoms, including Dissociative Identity Disorder. She also enjoys working with EMDR therapists looking to expand their ability to support clients with complex trauma and dissociation.
Becca Bowers, PLPC, EMDR trained therapist
Becca Bowers will be our training moderator for virtual attendees AND our training embodiment leader! Becca has advanced, specialized training in embodiment practices that she will be bringing to our training in order to promote a right brain AND left brain learning experience, as well as to help us all manage our own dissociation and connection levels throughout the training. Becca is an EMDR trained therapist with focus in working with spiritual trauma, lgbtq+ trauma and body image through a trauma informed lens. She is a psychotherapist with The Therapy Garden where she also leads PTSD groups and Body Image groups for women and men

- Established Career/Comfortable Living: $160 Examples: Full-Time work,Finances are stable enough that I am able to travel regularly for fun, go out to eat, able to save money, have an established retirement account, own a house, 2 income household, family financial support, etc:
- Mid-Career/Comfortable-ish Living:$140Full-Time work, Able to comfortably afford necessities but extra recreational activities are tight, Traveling for fun or going out to eat happens but is more rare due to finances, able to save somewhat after all expenses, rents housing, may receive support from family at times
- Early Career or intern/Survival Mode Living: $120 Part-time work or recent grad (under 2 years since grad), Little to no leisurely travel or going out to eat due to finances, affording expenses at all is a challenge, unable to save at all after expenses, 1 income household, no support from family
