Terms & Conditions:
· Access to the building will begin 30 minutes prior to the rental start time, to allow for set up and decorating. The 30 minutes of setup time is for setting tables on the sidelines, bringing in party supplies, etc. Field time does not begin until the start of your approved rental time. Equipment and guests may not go onto the field surface until your rental time has begun. This is to repect the rental time of other users who may have use of the field surface until your rental time has begun. For user safety, please do not use any tacks or staples on QYSA property.
· Please vacate the field area promptly at the end of your rental time. 30 minutes of building access will be allotted after your rental to allow time to pack up items from the sidelines, clean any significant spills or messes, remove all decorations, etc. In order to respect other rentals that may follow your own, all guests and equipment must be off the field surface promptly when your rental time is complete.
· Inside the Birthday Party Equipment Closet (located under the Balcony Stairs) a broom, mop & bucket, and cleaning supplies are provided for your use. Please wipe tables and benches and sweep or mop if a significant spill has occurred.
· Food and drink are only allowed on the concrete sidelines of the field. No food or drink is ever allowed on the turf. Water only allowed on the field.
· In case of cancellation, QYSA requires a minimum of 48 hours notice prior to the rental date to obtain a refund. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice will be charged a $25.00 cancellation fee.
· Outside equipment brought onto the field must be approved by QYSA's Technical Director. Any outside equipment that requires on-field set-up cannot be done on the field surface until your rental time begins in order to respect other rentals who many have use of the field up until your rental time begins.
· QYSA Staff will not be on site during rentals, and are not responsible to supervise attendees or outside equipment.
· QYSA is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen items.
· No alcohol, drugs or smoking on QYSA property.
· No abusive or aggressive behaviour or language. QYSA staff have the authority to remove anyone from the Facility displaying abusive or aggressive behaviour or language.
· At least two (2) supervising adults must remain in the facility for the duration of the party.
· Parents are ultimately responsible for the safety of their children and guests should be supervised at all times.
If your party exceeds 20 people, you are required to obtain insurance for the event from the Quesnel Recreation Centre. Please call (250) 992-8200 to obtain required insurance.
In an unforeseen event of sickness or injury, it is the responsibility of the renter to contact the necessary emergency providers and/or the parent of the sick or injured child.
The work, services, or activity to be performed in the Venue under this contract will be performed entirely at the risk of the Renter and assumes all responsibility for the condition of facility and all equipment used in conjunction of this contract. Furthermore, Renter shall protect, maintain, save and hold harmless the Venue Owner and its officers, agents, servants, and employees from and against any and all claims, demands, expense and liabilities arising out of injury or death to any person, or the damage, loss or destruction of any property which may occur in or about the Venue.
