Thank you for your expression of interest in attending Painting with Alcohol Inks-With Christine Hyde.
This session will cover the fundamental principles of painting with alcohol inks, plus introduce you to the techniques employed by Christine in her recent solo exhibition 'Intuitive Responses to the Landscape"
The following sessions are now available (min 3 people per session). We will confirm the running of that session, once the minimum attendance has been met.

Class structure
• Overview of the methodology of painting with alcohol inks
• Demonstration by Christine of her techniques
• Practice / play with several techniques
• Commencement of a finished work
Included
• Comprehensive handout notes including techniques, sealing work, safety, product suppliers (+ pen to make any personal notes)
• Yupo (polypropylene) paper A4 and A3 sizes (for final work)
• A range of alcohol inks in various colours
• Paint brushes, Straws, Pipettes,small containers
• Protective Mask, gloves, Isopropyl, Methylated spirits (to clean brushes),
• Tissues and surface protectors
• Wet wipes for cleanup
• Refrigerated water, tea & coffee, biscuits & fruit
Caution: because of the alcohol bases of the products used, this workshop is not recommended for someone who is pregnant or who has bronchial issues
What to wear
Comfortable clothing and enclosed footwear.
Alcohol Inks can be messy and the ink will stain your clothes - Art apron recommended (bring your own or purchased at the gallery for $24.95)

Should you wish to purchase an item during your session, Katrina will be your sales assistant. You may also purchase through our website. Artworks on level one can be packaged and taken home with you on the day of the purchase. Exhibition items on the ground floor may need to stay for the duration of the exhibition period (usually no more than 2-3 weeks).
