2024 Grant Application
Established by the Greater Albuquerque Association of REALTORS® to support local charities.
Application Deadline is July 1, 2024.
The REALTOR® Fund makes an annual grant of $45,000 to one eligible non-profit charity that meets the established criteria.
Eligible organizations will be reviewed by the REALTOR® Fund Committee who will determine the top three applicants. Those applicants will present their organizations to the GAAR Board of Directors who will determine the final grant recipient.
Application Date: April 1 - July 1, 2024
Application Review: July - August 2024
Top 3 Applicants Present to GAAR Board of Directors: October 2024
Award Notification: November 2024
Grant Distribution: December 2024
Applicant Criteria
- Be in existence for a minimum of 5 years.
- Be exempt from U.S. federal income tax pursuant to section 501(c3) of the Internal Revenue Code and classified as a public charity under section 509(a1) or section 509(a2) of the Code; and/or an educational institution or governmental entity.
- Serve the four-county Greater Albuquerque Metro Area - Bernalillo, Sandoval, Valencia, Torrance.
- Have current filings with the New Mexico Attorney General's Office, Secretary of State's office and have a positive Charity Check Report on GuideStar.
