Reason for excursion/ educational outcomes:
This excursion provides children with the opportunity to explore, inquire, and engage with the natural environment through meaningful, hands-on experiences. Children will be encouraged to ask questions, investigate their surroundings, and utilise available resources to deepen their understanding of wildlife and conservation. Educators will remain flexible and responsive to children's interests, allowing learning opportunities to emerge naturally throughout the day.
During their visit to Australia Zoo, children will develop an appreciation for the interconnectedness of people, animals, and the environment. They will also practise respectful and responsible behaviour in a public setting, fostering a sense of community, belonging, and environmental stewardship.

Proposed activities to be undertaken: Children attending will have access to all different attractions throughout the zoo, Croc Show, Kangaroo Park, see the animals of Africa, High supervision whilst travelling through the zoo in small age appropriate groups with our qualified Educators.
