Enchanted Valley Camps are for children between the ages of 7 and 12 who spend five days during the summer months at The Farmhouse north of Wakefield, QC. In each camp we welcome up to 12 children to join us in creating stories in nature, forest discovery, games, crafts and creating music together. The days, are spent outsoors with tent shelter from intense heat or rain, a handwashing station and outhouse for sanitary needs. There will be one adult and two responsible teenagers responsible for the children throughout the day.

They are asked to dress in simple clothes without writing. Each child will bring their snacks and lunches and water bottles. A list of what to bring will be sent to all participants closer to the summer.

In this application, you are registering on behalf of a minor and are their parent/legal guardian and as such, you are fully authorized to enter into this agreement on their behalf.

The program fee is $340. per week per participant.

A $100 of this is due along with registration. This fee is non-refundable as of June 1st, 2025.

The entire fee is non-refundable as of the first day of camp.

I understand as a parent/guardian of a child who is a participant in the camp that my child will participate in activities including but not limited to physical activities, group games and learning activities that may include open fire, using specialized tools, working with animals, participating in dancing and games and hiking on the grounds of The Farmhouse. These activities may include woodworking, leather work, spinning, needle-work, open hearth cooking, singing, playing music, games, gardening, wool processing and more.  
I agree that the choice to participate brings with it the assumption of those risks and results that are part of these activities resulting from any cause whatsoever including, but not limited to: missed doses of medication; contracting COVID-19; scrapes, bruises, fractures and other injuries sustained in physical activity indoors and outdoors.
I agree that Julie Brodeur, ArtiCulture, the owners of The Farmhouse, Tessa Lochhead and Jay McKechnie, and any independent contractors, shall not be liable for any personal injury to my child or any loss/damage to my child’s personal property arising from, or in any way resulting from, my child’s participation in these activities due to any cause whatsoever, including negligence, breach of contract, or breach of any statutory duty of care or other duty of care, including any duty of care owed under any applicable occupier’s liability legislation.
I authorize Julie Brodeur and camp councillors to administer first aid to my child and to secure medical care for my child in an emergency as deemed appropriate by the attending first responders.
I certify that the information provided in this registration form is, to my knowledge, true and complete.
I have read and understood the above waiver and consent and confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian of the child mentioned herein who is a minor.
I confirm that I have the complete custody, care and control of the minor and have the legal authority to sign this consent and waiver on behalf of the minor and that the consent of no other person or entity is required.
