Connect Language Center Rights and Responsibilities

Introduction:

Thank you for expressing interest in the Connect Language Center through World Relief Memphis (WRM). By enrolling in this 12-week course, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

Students Rights & Responsibilities

• Students have the right to be treated with dignity and respect. Students have the responsibility to treat their classmates and teachers with dignity and respect. 
• Students are responsible for attending classes regularly and carrying their student ID badge each time they enter the CLC.
• Students are responsible for calling and/or sending a text message to their teacher or the Hospitality Specialist (Yami Santamaria) if they are unable to attend class or will be arriving late. The phone call or text must be made before the class starts.
• Students have the right to have to respectfully share and express any concerns, suggestions, or opinions about their class and/or instructor with Connect Language Center staff.
• Students have the right to use the Lobby area to read, rest or have a meal. Children are not allowed inside the classrooms, but they are welcome in the Lobby if they are able to behave independently and quietly. 

Attendance Policy

In order to obtain the certificate of completion or the certificate of participation at the end of the cycle, students can not miss more than 20% of the classes (9.6 hours of class ). Also students must consider that being 15 minutes late, it will result in one absence. 

If a student can not continue attending classes during the cycle must communicate with his/her teacher. If the student does not communicate that is dropping off the class, in order to enroll for the following cycle will need to pay a fee of $50. 

Payment Policy

If a student has a payment plan with CLC for English Classes during the cycle, please acknowledge the payment dates for second and third/last payment. 

• Second Payment: February 16, 2026 ($166)
• Third/Last payment: March 16, 2026 ($166 or Promotion Discount)If the student pays during the next 4 days from the payment due date CLC will not charge any additional fee. But if a student pays after the 5th day of the payment due day CLC will charge $25 extra fee. Please note that all payments are non-refundable.

World Relief Memphis Rights & Responsibilities

WRM staff have the right to remove anyone from the course who has not been compliant with the aforementioned procedure.
