Welcome to the Substitute/Aide Application Form for Castle Rock Christian Academy for the academic year 2025/26. We appreciate your interest in CRCA. We invite you to fill out this initial application for a teaching position at our school. Please note that a refundable fee may be required for a background check.

At CRCA, our staff is our most valuable resource. We are grateful for those who are professionally qualified, who love children and teens, and who, by the pattern of their lives, are Christian role models (Luke 6:40) who desire to nurture the hearts and minds of our students.

We look forward to receiving your initial application. Thank you for your interest in the ministry of our school. We pray that God will fulfill His perfect will in the lives of all applicants.

Please note that this is a lengthy application that includes personal essays to help us get to know you, the applicant. We encourage you to allow plenty of time to complete this application in a low-distraction environment. You may wish to consider writing long answers in a document from which you can copy and paste, in case your connection is interrupted.

Please note that, as a Christian school, we are building a team that shares the spiritual conviction outlined in our Statement of Faith and is willing to cultivate the culture outlined in the CRCA Culture Guide.

The following are some open-ended questions with a word limit of 250 words that you need to have prepared in advance of completing the form:

I authorize references and my former employers to disclose to the school any and all employment records, performance reviews, letters, reports, and other information related to my life and employment, without giving me prior notice of any such disclosure. In addition, I hereby release Castle Rock Christian Academy, my former employers, references, and all other parties from any and all claims, demands, or liabilities arising out of or in any way related to such investigation or disclosure. I waive the right to ever personally view any references given to Castle Rock Christian Academy. Since I will be working with children and minors, I understand that I must submit to a background check. I agree to fully cooperate as necessary for such an investigation. I authorize Castle Rock Christian Academy to conduct a criminal records check. I understand and agree that any offer of employment that I may receive from the school is conditioned upon the receipt of background information, including criminal background information. The school may refuse employment or terminate conditional employment if the school deems any background information unfavorable or to reflect adversely on the school or on me as a Christian role model. I understand that this is only an application for employment and that no employment is being offered at this time.
