For more back story: Neurotherapeutic Pediatric Therapies (the non-profit that oversees Grow With Nature Consulting) was recently awarded a grant dedicated to building the Nature Based Therapy program through Spirit Mountain. One aim of this grant is to grow and connect the professional community interested in Nature Based Therapy, which is why we are able to host this professional group. We hope to see you there!
JULIE'S BRIEF BIO:
Julie Baxter (she/her), MS, LPC is a therapist in Portland, Oregon, specializing in motivation, nature in therapy, psycho-physiological relationship in individuals, and those experiencing complex trauma, anxiety, relationship issues, and difficult transitional stages. She currently works in private practice at Blue Water Therapy. Her educational background includes a BS in Psychology, a Post Baccalaureate in Speech Language Pathology, and an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Julie has been working in the mental health field since 1999 in a variety of roles, including as a Biofeedback Technician. Julie has been connecting people to the natural world, providing psychoeducation, and promoting community through her two established businesses Motivated Zen in 2010 and Kayak Portland in 2012.
