Louisiana Watermelon Festival Pageant 2024: Junior and Teen Princess Application 

Pageant deadline - Friday, July 21st, 2024 at 5PM. Date - Farmerville Recreation Center, 116 Cox Ferry Rd, Farmerville, LA 71241. Interviews for Jr Miss Contestants will be held Sunday, July 21 at 2:00 PM at the Farmerville Recreation Center, 116 Cox Ferry Rd. Farmerville, La. 71241. When the interview is complete, the contestant is free to go until 4:30 PM. Please be sure to provide a good contact number in case times are changed so we may contact you. The pageant begins at 5:00 PM, Sunday, July 21, 2024. PLEASE BE AT THE REC NO LATER THAN 4:30 PM.  PLEASE HAVE YOUR CHILD DRESSED AND READY WHEN YOU GET TO THE PAGEANT. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN IF ARRIVING LATE.  The   Junior   Miss   contestants   will  model   their   required   sportswear   (watermelon   t-shirt and white shorts of your choice) on stage first. One (1) 60th Annual Louisiana Watermelon Festival shirt is included in the price of your entry. Due to limited sizes, the Farmerville Jaycees DO NOT guarantee your selected size. Shirts will be handed out at rehearsals.  Only  ONE  adult is allowed per child to enter the dressing room area. You will be provided a wristband & ONLY the person with said wristband can enter. IF YOUR CHILD IS NOT DRESSED AND READY BY 4:45 p.m., THE FARMERVILLE JAYCEES RESERVE THE  RIGHT TO REMOVE YOUR CHILD FROM THE COMPETITION. NO REFUNDS. The parade is Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. We will line up in the OLD Farmerville Jr. High parking lot on Bernice Street.  Be there no later than 8:15 a.m. All contestants will be responsible for providing their own car and making their signs. Parade ride is optional.  Winners of the pageant will ride in the parade for free.
