Application Guidelines for the 2025

DST College Entry Scholarship

Due April 4, 2025
Each applicant must be graduating from CCHS, Cairo Jr/Sr High School, or Meridian High School in the spring of 2025.

Each applicant must have a 2.5 GPA or higher for overall high school work.

Each applicant determined eligible will be interviewed by CAC-DST Scholarship Committee.

The Scholarship recipient is expected to attend their respective Awards Night:

CCHS Awards Night: May 1, 2025

Cairo Jr/Sr High School: TBA by the School

or Meridian High School: TBA by the School

Application Packet

Applicants are responsible for submitting:

1. A completed Application Form

2. An essay: On a separate sheet of paper, please type an essay, no more than two (2) pages in length, explaining:

Your motivation for going to college and your related goals.

Your significant accomplishments.

A statement about any personal and/ or academic obstacles that you have had.

3. A statement of financial need (completed by parent/guardian)

4. A copy of your current transcript

5. Two (2) letters of recommendation:

One from a faculty or adminstrative staff member who has known you longer than one (1) semester.

The second letter from an adult, non-relative, who has know you for longer than one (1) year.

Your completed application packet must be submitted electronically via this form by April 4, 2025.
