  Our Nanna's book The Kūmara Vine has been 3 years in the making! The Kūmara Vine is a memoir of our Nanny Hanui's lifelong journey & passion for horticulture, especially the Kūmara. Nan share's stories from her childhood days learning from her Father & Mother thru to the establishment of the Mara Kai at Waipatu Marae which is known now as Aunty's Garden.
  
  Aunty's Garden has had a profound impact on the community. Nan's service has been recognised nationally & internationally. On the 9th March 2024 saw hundreds gather together for Nanny Hanui's book launch. She was overwhelmed by the support, we are very proud of our Nanna & her service to the community.
