  • CREDENTIALS FOR THE VOTING DELEGATES

    The credentials form has to be submitted by September 17th 2024, 23:59/11:59pm GMT/UTC.
  • With this form, the financial Affiliate Federations, Affiliate Clubs, Executive Members, Past International Presidents and Standing Committee Chairs are to complete and have the signed credential’s form issued via this jotform.

    For Affiliate Federations, their delegation should include their President (as delegate leader), their Immediate Past President or Vice President (as deputy leader) and one (or more delegates as per 8.7.3 show below), with their equal number of alternate delegates.

    Each Country with no Affiliate Federation is entitled to have one voting delegate to represent their Affiliate Clubs in their Country and one alternative delegate. The Clubs from each Country must agree who will be their nominated delegate and alternate delegate.

    Delegates who are listed on the credentials form as having voting rights are authorised to vote.

    1. Each Affiliate Federation must complete an accreditation form with the details of all its delegates and alternate delegates.
    2. Each Country with Affiliate Clubs must also complete an accreditation form confirming their appointed delegate and alternate delegate (note one can be from one club and one from another).
    3. Each Executive Board Member, Past International President and Standing Committee Chairs (their Affiliate Federation or Affiliate Club's dues (and any outstanding penalties) are to have been paid in full)
      • only need to complete a credentials form to indicate the personal email of their choice
      • hold one (1) vote (in that capacity) even if they are eligible for another voting
        entitlement
    4. This Form MUST BE COMPLETED, SIGNED (electronically signed) by 17th September 2024.
    5. Only the delegates named on the credential’s forms that have been signed and submitted to the BPW International President’s Office (issued via this jotform) will be accepted as delegates with the corresponding voting rights.

    The delegates must be registered delegates to Congress 2024, in order to be permitted access as a voting delegate in the International Board meetings (two from each Federation) and General Assembly business sessions.

    No proxy votes will be permitted, one (1) vote per delegate.

    8.7. Voting [R11]

    To be eligible to vote in the election at the General Assembly, the Affiliates must have paid their dues for the year of the Congress and any outstanding prior years' dues and / or penalties by the start of the General Assembly.

    8.7.3 Voting by Federations [R11]

    Each Affiliate Federation attending the General Assembly is entitled to the following number of voting delegates calculated on the basis of their paid-up members:

    The number of voting delegates is [R11.2]
    500 or fewer members 3 delegates
    501 to 1,000 members 4 delegates
    1,001 to 2,000 members 5 delegates
    2,001 to 3,000 members 6 delegates

    The number of voting delegates includes above and [R11.2 and 8.7.3]
    3,001 to 6,000 members 7 delegates
    6,001 to 9,000 members 8 delegates
    9,001 to 12,000 members 9 delegates
    12,001 to 15,000 members 10 delegates
    15,001 to 18,000 members 11 delegates
    18,001 to 21,000 members 12 delegates

    and one (1) delegate for every additional one (1) to 3,000 members to a maximum of 15 delegates.

    Each Federation is entitled to an equal number of alternate delegates.

    R11.3. Delegates of Affiliate Clubs attending General Assembly

    Each country with 1 or more Affiliate Clubs attending the General Assembly is entitled to 1 voting delegate and 1 alternate delegate. The 1 vote must be shared by the Affiliate Clubs.

    R12. Voting between General Assemblies

    R12.1. Members of the International Board from Affiliates which are up to date with their dues (and any penalties) can vote at International Board meetings and electronically between meetings.

    R12.2. Affiliate Federations
    Each Affiliate Federation will have 2 votes.

    R12.3. Affiliate Clubs
    Each country with 1 or more Affiliate Clubs is entitled to 1 voting delegate. The 1 vote must be shared by the Affiliate Clubs.

    R12.4. Other delegates
    • Members of the Executive are entitled to only 1 vote each
    • Past Presidents and Standing Committee Chairpersons are entitled to only 1 vote each

  • Data Protection

    This data will be stored at BPW International. The data will be used exclusively for the International Congress 2024 in St. Kitts. After the International Congress 2024 the data will be stored in the Archives of BPW International. On request the data will be deleted (only after the International Congress 2024).
