Weather and mechanical delays, while rare, do happen. If you have a skid rental from another company or workers there to move the material, we highly recommend getting the material delivered a day early to mitigate risk. If your order is delayed, we will get it to you the following morning, assuming conditions allow us. If you order a skidsteer bobcat rental from us, things are much more flexible and easy because we control both deliveries.

*WARNING* Your delivery truck may weigh up to 30 tons, depending on its size and the material. If you're concerned about damaging the concrete, please keep the truck on the road. We are not liable for any damage caused by driving onto the property. If the truck gets stuck on the property (due to mud, being high-centered, etc.), the customer will be responsible for towing costs and any associated downtime.

We will do our best to accommodate your delivery notes. Keep in mind, we generally use very large dump trucks on loads over 5 yards/5 tons. We can't always fit down the sides of houses and through narrow gates.
You do not need to be home for delivery; the driver will dump according to your notes and pictures. The driver will call if there are any questions or concerns.

Damage Waiver Info
In exchange for a fee equal to 15% of the rental rate for the rental equipment, Topsoil Delivery & Services agrees to waive claims against the customer for the first $500 of uninsured damage to the rental equipment. All damage or loss over $500 the customer shall remain fully liable and shall pay 50% of the repair or replacement costs up to $12,000 and shall pay 100% of repair or replacement costs exceeding $12,000. Terms and conditions do apply and will be made clear on the contract that is signed. The contract is at the bottom of the form.

We need someone there to accept delivery if at all possible. We will take a video of the current condition of the machine. Likewise, we will also give a brief lesson on how to run the machine. If you cannot be there, we can do everything remote.

The skid comes with 8 hours of operation per 24 hour rental. We typically don't have issues with this, but any after the hours of operations are used up, extra hours are billed at $40 per hour.

Price does not change based on how much sod was installed. It is a fixed rate. Pricing on installation assumes there are no major hills, no steps and has good access. If you have any of these, make sure to reach out so install can go smoothly.

If we are asked to drive on the property, we are not liable for damages. Warning, a loaded forklift can weigh up to 10,000 pounds. Yes, this will put divots in your grass, especially if the grass is wet. Forklift needs 9 foot gates to get through

Delivery instructions for the driver.
Sod is delivered in the mornings. Generally between 8am and noon. Occasionally, to avoid traffic, the drivers will start super early at 5 and 6am. Please have the delivery spot ready the night before, so delivery can go smoothly.

Sod must be installed the day of delivery if you want a warranty on the sod. Warranty covers if the sod rots. It is recommended to order at least 3-5% more sod to account for tears in an occasional piece. We need a picture by end of day of delivery to get you the warranty proving install.

Cancellation Policy On Sod - Must Cancel 5 Days Before Sod Delivery Date. If the order date is made within 5 days of delivery date, there is no way to change the order after it gets sent to the farm.
