• FTC Team Spring Training

    The FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Program is hosting their Spring Training for CURRENT 7th graders through 11th graders. We will be hosting 6 weekly sessions on Wednesdays starting April 3rd, 2024. There will be a fee of $150 for this Spring Training.

  • What is FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC)

    FTC is one of three competitive robotics programs offered under FIRST programs and a program hosted within Monumental Impact.  

  • What Type of Training?

    FIRST programs have an ethos and culture of Gracious Professionalism and Coopertition, in addition to a competitive robotics game format. It is much to learn, skills to build and grow our teamwork for individuals coming together only in the Fall. Thus the reason we are hosting a Spring Training Program.

  • We will be hosting three types of sessions for FTC's Spring Training Program each Wednesday for six weeks starting April 3rd and ending on May 8th as the last in-person session:

    1. 3:30-5:30pm: Design & Mechanisms
    2. 5:00-5:30pm: All Things Business (Marketing, Media, Analytics, Events)
    3. 5:30-6:00pm: All-Team Meeting
    4. 6:00-7:00pm: Java Basic Programming

    Team members should attend either the Design & Mechanisms(A), All Things Business (B) or Java Basic Programming(D) based on their primary interest and where they would like to primarily contribute to their team. 

    All team members must attend the All-Team Meeting(C).

  • Team members will be added to our FTC Slack where conversations, connections and skills development can continue virtually through the summer, at the beginning of our season in August and up to our Game Reveal on September 14th, 2024.

  • Payment

    Spring Training Program fees of $150 are due on the 1st Wednesday attended. Please make a check payable to Monumental Impact with your student's name in the Memo.  You can bring the check to our first day, April 3rd, or mail to:
