Community Connector Employment Expectations
Community Connectors:
- must provide certification or willing to certify (as part of the summer hours) in the following:
- Mental Health First Aid for Adults who interact with Youth – Mental Health Commission of Canada
- Emergency First Aid with CPR-C/AED
- Commit to Kids – Canadian Centre for Child Protection
- FoodSafe Certification
- be willing to work irregular hours including some weekends and holidays
- must be available for onsite training from June 30 until July 5, 2024,(inclusive)
- Able to work 30 hours per week from June 30 – August 23, 2024 (please note, there is one week of paid vacation in lieu of the extra hours from June 30-July 5, this week will be chosen in collaboration with the Campus Minister)
- Able to work 120 hours per term for the Fall term (September – December 2024) and Spring term (January – April 2025)
