Sherwin Avenue Community Organic Garden operates under the auspices of Emeryville Community Organic Gardens, a 501(c3) nonprofit incorporated in 1992. Membership is on first-come, first-serve basis, for those residing in the 94608 Zip Code with priority going to Emeryville residents. There are 26 plots assigned to individuals.
