I understand that Loritos may experience necessary school closures due to various factors, including severe weather conditions such as wind speeds of 21+ mph, potential COVID-19 exposure, lightning in the park, an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 101+, or a Particulate Matter (PM) reading of 2.5+. I acknowledge that these safety closure days will not result in a refund of tuition fees.

I understand that school hours at Loritos run from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturdays. If I am more than 15 minutes late dropping off the child, I agree to escort my child to the designated morning meeting spot. I also acknowledge that a late fee of $35.00 will be charged if I am more than 15 minutes late picking up my child (after 12:15 pm), which is the same amount as the cost of one hour class.

For Loritos: In consideration of my participation and the participation of my child(ren) in the activities of Loritos Nature-Based Spanish Immersion Program, I hereby release Loritos from any liability for injuries or loss that I or my minor child(ren) may incur as a result of said activities for as long as we participate in them. I acknowledge that some activities may involve risk-taking. However, I fully accept these risks on behalf of myself and my child(ren) and agree to hold harmless and free from any and all liability Loritos Nature-Based Spanish Immersion Program, Golden Gate Park, the City and County of San Francisco, Ocean Beach (United States of America), all volunteers, and employees for injuries that may be incurred while engaged in said activities..

I understand that my child's photo and videos will be taken on a daily basis at Loritos for observations, keepsakes for the child's family, recaps of the child's day at school to be sent to the child's family, and may be used on Loritos Nature-Based Spanish Immersion Program website. I recognize that this is an integral part of what makes Loritos unique. It allows parents to capture every moment of their child's day and observe how their confidence and self-esteem develop over time. These pictures will be sent to me daily via our WhatsApp group chat, accompanied by a write-up (blog) about early second language development, challenges, and suggestions on how to handle them.
