TTRPG Storytelling
This workshop is a crash course in leading a TTRPG. If you're interested in DMing Dungeons and Dragons, GMing a system you've developed, or Storytelling in Guild Chronicles, this is your chance to get some real expertise.
The course will cover narrative design, group management, important skills and mindsets of storytellers, combat challenges, roleplaying, group formation and more.
Analog Game Design
This workshop is an opportunity to take a concept for a board game, card game, roleplaying game or LARP and bring it to life. Each step of the design process, from pitching a concept and refining it, to sketching, to prototyping, to playtesting and iterating will be explored.
Depending on the group, this workshop could feature a collaborative project shared by the group, a series of short "jams", or individual work with feedback and playtesting by peers.
Digital Game Design
In this workshop, participants will work together to create a video game. Collaboratively, the group will decide on a concept, create graphics, create code to control the action, create sound and animation and more.
The applications used by the group will be determined by the level of expertise of those participating.
Guild Chronicles Internship (Supported)
Andrew has offered opportunities for folks to intern at Guild Chronicles since they founded the company. A major barrier to these internships is Andrew's limited time to oversee, manage and support interns. This workshop is an opportunity to have a very thorough work-experience overseen directly by Andrew.
Participants in this program will receive structured assignments, executive support in completing projects, work-place experience with peers, one-on-one meetings with Andrew, performance reviews that highlight strengths as well as areas of growth, and letters of recommendation (when requested).
