The Branch County Community Foundation is collecting nomination forms on behalf of Women Who Care.
The mission of Women Who Care is to streamline fundraising for organizations that are changing lives in Branch County.
Applications are reviewed quarterly before the regularly schedule Women Who Care meetings (February, May, August, and November). Organizations chosen to present at the Women Who Care meeting for the large funding request will be notified by Women Who Care.
Nomination Information:
Any organization wishing to submit an nomination MUST be a 501c3. Any organizations seeking funding that are not 501c3's are able to requesting funding for the Women Who Care Mini Grant.
Nominations are due February 1, May 1, August 1, and November 1. Any nominations received after the due will be considered at the following meeting. (examples: if a nomination is submitted January 2nd, it will be reviewed at the May meeting. A nomination that is submitted on December 31, it will be reviewed at the February meeting.)
Organizations that are chosen for a presentation must attend the next scheduled Women Who Care meeting that comes after the due date to give their presentation for the Major Grant request. Organizations that are not in attendance will not be considered for funding.
Organizations who receive funding from Women Who Care will be expected to provide proof of spending within twelve months of receiving funding (paid invoices, statements, etc).
Organizations who receive funding from the Women Who Care for the Major Grant will have a two year waiting period until they are eligible to apply for another nomination opportunity from Women Who Care.
