Description: In this proactive parenting workshop, nationally recognized child development and behavior management expert Lynne Reeves Griffin RN, MEd will explore the phases of school adjustment as well as provide strategies for successfully coaching your child through transitions of every kind. Griffin will highlight activities that positively influence your child’s adapting to new routines, new friends, and new expectations, as well as how to coach your child to behave well throughout the process. She’ll show you practical ways to smooth out any transition, even for the most reluctant child. The session will include a conversation about how parents might explore whether or not specific behaviors might be telling a more complex story.
