Communion Instruction Class Fall 2025

Thank you for your interest in the Communion Instruction class. This is a four-week class designed to introduce 2nd graders and their parents to the Sacrament of communion. We will meet during the Sunday School hour at 10:15 am in the Gym inside the Activity Center.

Class schedule:

Sunday, September 28th – Class 1

Sunday, October 5th – Class 2

Sunday, October 12th – Class 3

Sunday, October 19th – Class 4

On Sunday, October 26th, students will be recognized during the 9 a.m. traditional service in the Church and a reception for all students and their families will follow. Keep in mind that attendance to all classes is required.

Please note that children must be baptized in order to receive communion. If your child has not been baptized, please contact Juli Browning at jbrowning@smec.org, and she can provide the next steps on how your child can be baptized at St. Martin’s.
