2-Flagging Responsibilities: Applicants are responsible for maintaining red flags at the outer limits of the treatment area throughout the season. Red flags, available at the County Engineer's office or maintenance sheds, must be always visible to avoid grading. If grass has grown around flags and cannot be see, engineer has right to blade. It also affects the point where spraying starts and stops. If CIDC cannot see flags when spraying, we will use best determination where to start spraying the applicablefeet and will not respray additional areas.
3-Measurement and Adjustment: The applicant is responsible for accurately measuring the application area. CIDC reserves the right to remeasure and adjust the treatment area as necessary. Trucks equipped with computerized measuring equipment will verify distances; inaccurately placed flags may affect the measured distance.
4-Product Efficacy: The dust control product is designed for effective dust suppression. However, CIDC does not guarantee performance due to varying factors such as weather conditions, surface preparation, heavy traffic, or county blading activities.
5-Service Agreement: This agreement covers two applications of the dust control product, with application dates depending on county scheduling. Initial application is expected late May/early June, followed by a second application at the end of July/early August. Dates are subject to weather conditions.
6-Post-Treatment Maintenance: Roads within the treated area will be bladed after October 1, 2024.
