VX One Newport and Streamline Marine are working to maximize the number of charter boats available. It is expected that roughly 5 boats will be available at no charge, and another 5-10 will be available for a charter fee. Boats available at no charge will be assigned via a lottery system in early August 2024. Should more boats become available after that date, more slots will be made available based on your lottery number. Teams will have 3 days to accept their boat. All charter boats will require a $500 damage deposit and obtain a single event one design insurance policy through Gowrie Group.

The 2024 VX One Women's Championship

Sailing is an activity that carries with it an inherent risk of damage and injury. Competitors
participate in this regatta entirely at their own risk and are reminded to pay special attention to rule 3, Decision to Race. The race organizers, including the OA, Race Committee, Protest Committee, the State of Rhode Island, sponsors, volunteers, or any other affiliated organization or official, will not be responsible for damage to any boat or other property or the injury to any competitor, including death, sustained as a result of practice for or participation in this event on the water or ashore. By participating in this event, each competitor agrees to release the race organizers from any and all liability associated with such competitors participation in this event to the fullest extent permitted by law. I further attest and certify that I have read and understood the above waiver and assumption of risk, and that I am making this waiver and am assuming all risks voluntarily.

The entry fee is $250, however payment is not required for all teams until after the lottery takes place. A preliminary scratch sheet will be posted following the lottery, and registration will remain open through August. A payment link will be sent following the posting of the scratch sheet.
