Hello, my name is Alysea Rucker and I am the founder of The Kingdom Foundation. I started this non-profit organization because of an encounter that I had with a young boy. He had been roaming the streets looking for food with no shoes and torn clothing. As I approached a stop sign I noticed him on the side of the road and he approached my car crying asking for food. I had a pan of fried chicken and corn bread left over from an event in my car and I gave him both pans and he started crying and sat on the edge of the road to eat the food immediately. Ever since then, I’ve been going out feeding the homeless and volunteering with other organizations until I decided to start my own organization in 2020. 

The Kingdom Foundation is a non-profit organization that meets individuals where they are. We not only focus on assisting individuals but assisting them where they are currently in life or physically in the city of Louisville.
