ULTIMATE REFORMER & FITNESS MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT

1 YEAR CONTRACT

At JOP - you are part of a community of AWESOME people who love being strong, healthy and "enJOY" fitness!

Membership Benefits Include:

1. REFORMER Classes:

- Two reserved Reformer classes per week.

(Determined at the beginning of each month, appropriate to the client's level)

-Additional Reformer Classes at a discounted rate

2. UNLIMITED Drop-In Group Fitness or Virtual Classes

- Come as often as you want to any In-Studio or Zoom Interactive Classes

3. 1 FREE Private or Duet *(expires after 12 Months):

- We encourage clients new to JOP to schedule their Private as their orientation

4. Appreciation Gift:

- Free JOP T-shirt and Toesox. Inquire at Front Desk. 

5. Guest Passes:

- Two per quarter to pass out to your Friends. Inquire at Front Desk. 

6. 10% Discount:

 - On all JOP clothing items/apparel

7. Various other in-house specials, workshops & prizes!

JOP ULTIMATE Reformer & Fitness Membership Terms:

1. WAIVER: Member represents and warrants that all facts stated in the JOP Waiver of Liability submitted by the member are true and correct. The Waiver is incorporated herein by reference and made a part of this agreement. New students must sign the Waiver of Liability.

4. HOLD: The JOP Membership can be put on a temporary, 1-month "Hold" once per year, to accommodate vacations, business travels, personal reasons, sickness etc. A "Hold" month does not count toward your 12 months of Membership. You must notify the studio in advance of your autopay to request "Hold" status.

 

5. THE RIGHT TO CANCEL UNDER RCW 19.142.040:

a. If you wish to cancel this contract within 3 business days of signing you may cancel it by delivering or mailing a written notice to JOP. The notice must say that you do not wish to be bound by the contract and must be delivered or mailed before midnight of the third business day after you sign this contract. The notice must be mailed to 2130 Grant Street, Bellingham, WA. If you cancel within the three days, JOP will return to you within thirty days all amounts you have paid.

b. You may cancel this contract on your disability with certification from your health care provided; and it is deemed canceled on your death or total disability;

c. If you move your permanent residence more than 25 miles from the studio or an affiliated studio with the same services and facilities, you may cancel this contract after one year from the date of signing; or, if at the time of signing your permanent residence was already more than 25 miles from the studio or an affiliated studio with the same services and facilities and you move your permanent resident an additional five miles from the studio or the affiliated studio, you may cancel this contact after one year from the date of signing.

d. If the contract extended for more than one year, upon thirty days' written notice.

e. If the studio is permanently closed.

 

6. MEMBERSHIPS OPTIONS: Other than as set forth above, there is no option to cancel this contract. Please see options below regarding changing or transferring your membership.

a. GIFT: Gift the remainder of Membership.

b. EXCHANGE:  Exchange classes for the month for 2 Private/Duet Sessions.

c. GRACE PERIOD: From the start date of Membership, we offer a 3-month grace period to transfer your Membership to our Month-to-Month option. Clients will pay the difference of $85 per month.

 

7. COMPLETION OF MEMBERSHIP:

a. Memberships are completed after 12 months (1 Year).

b. TO RENEW: Upon completion, Memberships may be renewed for another year! Please contact the Front Desk to set up your new year and new contract. Each Membership Year comes with all kinds of fun Membership Goodies and LOTS of GREAT EXERCISE!

 

 

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS. As a Member, I understand I am entitled to use the facility within the scope of the Membership that I have selected, and that I am obligated to pay my Membership fees regardless of whether or not I use the facility. I agree to promptly update Joy of Pilates with any change in my contact information (including address, telephone number or email address) or change in credit card information. 

I certify that I have read the foregoing Membership Agreement, and that by signing below, I acknowledge that I understand and agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions hereof. I further acknowledge that a fully executed copy of this Membership Agreement has been provided to me. I also certify that I am in receipt of the JOP policies, which may be revised from time to time.
