  • About the Author

  •

Roger Weitlich was born and raised in St. Joseph, Missouri.  He was the first in his family to earn a college degree and graduated with a Bachelors focused in Business and Math. His career covers a span of 43 years.  During this time he gained experience working in six different industries which included Petroleum, Wire Products, Agriculture, Publishing, Food Processing, and Environmental Services. Navigating this wide variety of industries required persistence and self-awareness, which were supported by the faithfulness and truth provided by his Lord and heavenly Father.

The book, “The Father’s Trust,” is based on the scripture contained in Proverbs 3: 5 and 6. There are many illustrations from Matthew 7: 7 and 8, where Jesus is teaching about asking, seeking, and knocking.  There are several health related stories that he shares with reference to 2nd Corinthians 1: 3 and 4.

Roger and his wife have 3 children, 11 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. The empty nesters now reside in Kansas City, Missouri with their two cats and enjoy playing a competitive game of Sequence with friends. Roger can often be found refining his golf game or maintaining his yard and flower gardens.
