The Wisconsin Geological Society, Inc. (WGS) is a non-profit club comprised of people with an interest in and love of rocks, minerals, fossils, and the lapidary arts.

Our Mission is to create an interest in the study of Geology, provide a means for personal development in Geology, and disseminate knowledge concerning all phases of Geology.

Once your application is received, we will send you detailed information on our next meeting (typically held on the second Monday of the Month, September through June) where receipt of your membership application and dues will be reviewed and approved by the membership.

Please plan on attending the next meeting! I/we understand that new members will be voted on at the next monthly meeting. Once membership is accepted, dues will be expected upon approval of your application.*

Dues for new members are pro-rated, base on when you join. Annual dues are due on November 30th of each year. If new members join prior to May, full membership dues apply. The prorated dues would begin in May ($10 single, $12.50 Family). Questions related to pro-rating can be directed to the Society Treasurer.*
